Hi, we are Grace and Debbie and were super excited to start our new venture a while ago. We thought long and hard about what we could do to help others with their website and WordPress needs. Who did we want to serve? What would we do to help out? How would we do that? When is the right time? Where exactly would we do this?
You see, Grace and I are two sisters living apart in two different countries, no, make that two different continents and we were wondering if it would be possible. Nowadays “location independent” is the buzz term for working from anywhere in the world. It takes a special type of business, but also a special type of person and I think we’ve got it. We’ve got GRIT!

It all started with a food blog
We get along well and for years we’ve been talking about doing something together. It started with a food blog, because we could never shut up about food. We still can’t but who can blame us? Our mom is a very good home cook and in combination with world travel and living abroad, we were exposed to good food our entire life. We loved blogging about food and continued our experiments with WordPress, creating websites and webshops first for friends, and then for clients. Check out our food blog Multiculti Cooking here.
One day we came up with: What if… we could help others who are not very tech-savvy to set up their own WordPress site? Or help others to maintain their site? And if that is still too difficult create and maintain an affordable website or webshop for them?
The Who
We’re certainly not the first coming up with that “brilliant” idea, because there are many freelancers and service providers doing the same thing. But what sets us apart is the fact that we focus on female small business owners, who lack the technical skills or a large budget for a website. This is because we understand the challenges women business owners go through, and we want to take at least one challenge away by being their website resource.
The What
We want to make it easier for women like you to run a business, without the worry of creating or managing your own website. You can only be in one place at the time and there is nothing worse than having an online image that looks unprofessional or broken. We are here to help you out!
The How
After telling us what you want, we’ll build a WordPress website to your specifications and desires. A customized tutorial is included, but if you don’t want to bother with the nitty-gritty of upkeep, we can take care of your site maintenance too.
The When & Where
When would be a good time to start our business and where would we do this? Why wait when we know that there are people who could benefit from our knowledge NOW? So that was an easy decision!
Also, since there’s an ocean between us, where could Grace and I run the business? Ah, the beauty of the internet! It allows us to be location independent! We really didn’t have to be in the same country or the same city (although that would be much more preferred), or even at the same time! In fact, working apart together (WAT) could be a big advantage, because with a 6-hour time difference we can be available to more people in different time zones.
